As we lay asleep each night, God is still speaking in our dreams. We have the ability to keep listening or to see them as a figment of our imagination.
Ever since I was a little tot, I have remembered my dreams. A few years ago I began to understand that God uses those 6-8 hours each day to continue speaking.
If I were to live to be 75 years old, about 25 of those years would have consisted of me lying still in a slumber. Why would I waste 25 years of my life NOT listening to God?! That’s a scary thought. That’s a lot of time wasted.
I challenge you to start praying for God to awaken your dream life. Ask Him to reveal to you what unanswered prayers will look like when they are fulfilled. Let Him uncover layers of your hurting heart. Give Him space to show you how influential you can be in the years to come. Simply listen.
As you document your dreams (on paper or a note on your phone), you will begin to see reoccurring themes or symbols. Dig deeper. Ask what they mean. Ask for more.
Night parables are the beginning of so much transformation. We can be given specific information that needs to be discovered. Maybe you will have words of encouragement for a friend, family member, or better yet— yourself!
